Sourdough

I decided to learn how to make sourdough after realizing that spending $7 on a sourdough grilled cheese at Starbucks was a bit much. I’ve always enjoyed hands-on projects, so when I read about the process—and heard rumors about how challenging it could be—I couldn’t resist giving it a shot. Now, beyond the satisfaction of making something from scratch, there are plenty of health benefits to sourdough, like better gut health and knowing exactly what’s in your food. While those perks are great, for me, they’re just the icing on the cake (or in this case, the crust on the bread).
